Erin from Colgate-Palmolive contacted me recently to see if I would be interested in trying out Colgate Optic White. I, of course, said yes. I do like Colgate products, and don’t mind writing a review if I like a product. They sent me a whole tube of the toothpaste, no charge.
I am a tea drinker, anywhere from 2 to 5 cups of tea are consumed each day. Not coffee. Not soda. Tea. But tea stains, which is not good. And, my day job requires that I smile and am a generally pleasant person who looks decent. I’m a Front Desk Agent at a hotel, and I sometimes worry about my smile because of the stains. My teeth aren’t as white as they used to be.
So I spent about a week using the Colgate Optic White Platinum High Impact White Toothpaste, and I’m pleased. I’ve already noticed a significant difference. The information sheet they sent me along with the toothpaste indicates 4 shades whiter teeth in 6 weeks, and this change is supposed to be noticeable starting in just 3 days. I noticed a difference after only a few days, so I’m excited to see what happens over the next five weeks.
If this works well, I’ll definitely purchase this on my own. It may just become my favorite toothpaste, and is cheaper than whitening systems you can buy, and far more affordable than having your teeth professionally whitened.
Colgate Optic White is safe for daily use and helps to protect the enamel on your teeth. A 3 ounce tube costs $3.99 to $4.99, and a 4.5 ounce tube costs $5.79 to $6.99. If you can find a 4.5 ounce tube for $5.79, that would be the most frugal choice at $1.29 per ounce. The second most frugal choice would be a 3 ounce tube for $3.99, or $1.33 per ounce.
