RIP Ted Kennedy: How He Helped Low-Income Familes, the Disabled and Others

Ted Kennedy did a lot of good things in his life, as well as having a good deal of fun, LOL. here are some of the good things that he accomplished in his life:

  1. He helped to ensure that wheel chair ramps were installed in public areas.
  2. He worked ensuring medical care for all children.
  3. He helped create COBRA.
  4. The Civil Rights Act of 1964.
  5. The Americans with Disabilities Act.
  6. The Family and Medical Leave Act.
  7. The Meals on Wheels Act (elderly)
  8. The Low Income Heating Energy Assistance Program.
  9. WIC
  10. Individuals with Disabilities Education.
  11. The Handicapped Children’s Protection Act.
  12. Summer Jobs for Youth Program.
  13. The School-to-Work Opportunities Act.
