October is here and it’s time to start decorating you home and yard for the Halloween holiday. You may have an idea of what decorations you will hang throughout your house, and some ideas for what you are going to put in your yard, but have you decided on the perfect front door decoration? Here are some Halloween door hanging ideas that cost less than five dollars.

  • Plastic door covers come with many different pictures for Halloween. There are covers that have ghosts, pumpkins, haunted houses and many other designs.
  • You can place Halloween garland around your door frame. Another good idea for the door frame is caution tape.
  • Simple orange and black lights can also be hung around the door frame.
  • Fake webbing and spiders can be hung in the corners of the door frame.
  • Hang a Halloween doorknob hanger.
  • Hang a Halloween welcome sign on the front door. If you can find one, a welcome mat would look nice on the floor in front of it as well.

October is here and Halloween is coming fast. If you are looking for some ideas on how to decorate your front door try some of these. You can also mix and match them if you want to have a lot of decorations on your door. These items can usually be purchased at your local dollar and Family Dollar stores.
