The Diva cups have arrived. We are waiting to be able to try them out.
I wanted to mention that, in an effort to save some money on the water bill, we flush for #2’s but not when we pee. Before I go to bed, I swish the toilet and flush one last time. This saves a little and, as long as you swish each night, you will not have rings and such in the toilet bowl. Obviously, if you are treating a UTI, you will want to flush every time you use the bathroom.
We just found out that my daughter will be away for college preporatory classes for six weeks this summer. This will save me money on food and other needs, water and sewer, and electricity. This will not be an environmental savings, as she will be using these resources on campus.
I purchased some soil and organic compost for the garden, as well as broccoli, cucumber and cherry tomato seedlings. The prices were not bad for our area.
