Maintenance: Clean once a month. I have been using a dishwasher cleaning agent, but am considering the use of vinegar instead.
Money Savings:
Use vinegar instead of Jet-Dry.
Start using less and less detergent until you notice it is no longer working, then use the previous amount.
Do not run the dry cycle. Open and allow dishes to air dry.
Do not fill the dishwasher too much, or all of your dishes will not come out clean. Experiment with this as well.
Do not under-fill the dishwasher. Sometimes it will be worth it to just wash by hand.
