Freezing Food, Ways to Save

So, last week I purchased a bunch of meat. I ended up with enough to last for 2 weeks, lunches and dinners. However, I had to cut back from 1 lb. no matter how many people are here to:
1/2 lb. for the 3 of us
3/4 lb when 1 nephew is here
1 lb for when there are more than 4 of us
This is proving to be a big change for us, but I hope it will work. I froze each meals meat individually.
There was some leftover odds and ends. These were placed in a separate baggie. Each time I have odds and ends, or a little leftover meat, I will place it in this bag to freeze.
Yesterday, I also started two containers. On for vegetable water from cooking, and one for vegetables. These were also put into the freezer. I will likely also have one for pasta water. I can make “leftover soup” with these items when we are low on food.
